Don’t Fear
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on
this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We have a wonderful Spirit on
the inside of us. Indeed God says:
Primary Text
“For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of
slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the
Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we
cry, Abba (Father)! Father! The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with
our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.” Romans 8v15&16
Imagine that you were
going to the market, and you had $200 with you, and it was yours, then you can
buy whatever you want that is up to that amount. On the other hand, if you were
the person who was selling goods, and you had tomatoes and apples for sale, if
someone asked you for fish, you really couldn’t give them, because you did not
have them. Wonderful. Now, the fact is that you have in you a Spirit of
adoption, which testifies with your spirit that you are a child of God. It is a
Spirit that enables you to say Abba Father. You also have a Spirit of power,
love and a sound mind. So what do you have to give, the things of that Spirit.
What don’t you have? You do not have a spirit of fear. So when a situation
arises, you can respond in crying Abba Father, you can respond in power, love
and with a sound mind, because that is the Spirit you have on the inside of
you. You have not been given from God a spirit of fear. So you can rightly say,
nope, fear is not from God, so it is not mine. When a situation wants to “buy”
fear from you, you can say, sorry, I do not have that. I am now of God, and He
has not given me fear. Hallelujah. Act out what God has given you. Refuse to
keep what He has not given you. Hallelujah!
Supplementary Text:
“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven
and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of
love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.” 2
Timothy 1v7 (AMP)
Prayer
Abba Father, thank You for giving
me a Spirit of power, and of love, and of a sound mind in Jesus name, amen.
