A Judgment

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His goodness, faithfulness, help and love.

Primary Text
“God alone sits in judgment on those who are outside. Drive out that wicked one from among you [expel him from your church].” 1 Corinthians 5v13 (AMP)

“God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you.” 1 Corinthians 5v13 (NLT)

And so Paul continues by saying for those who are outside, God will judge them. 2 Corinthians 5v10 (AMP) “For we must all appear and be revealed as we are before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive [his pay] according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil [considering what his purpose and motives have been, and what he has achieved, been busy with, and given himself and his attention to accomplishing].” One good reason why the Bible says “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them” - … Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil” Ecclesiastes 12v1, 13&14 (NIV). So, those who are outside are going to be judged by God. We as Christians shall also stand before God’s judgment seat one day. In the meantime though, when things are not right in the church, we should be able to make decisions and make judgments about them. And so Paul tells the church in Corinth – expel that wicked man, who has been sleeping with his father’s wife away from the church.

Supplementary Text
“Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight] – To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it).” Jude 1v24-25 (AMP)

Prayer
Father we thank You for Your Word. Once again O God, we pray for those who do not know You, that You will send laborers to them, that they may come to know You. We pray as well for ourselves, committing our spirits into Your hands, that You may keep us from falling and present us blameless before Your throne of grace. All glory, honor, splendor, power and dominion be to You O God, now and forevermore in Jesus name, amen.
