Our Justification
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope
well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“Who shall lay any thing to the charge
of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.” Romans 8v33 (KJV)
“Who dares accuse us whom God has
chosen for His own? No one – for God Himself has given us right standing with
Himself.” Romans 8v33 (NLT)
God loves us so very much. The Bible
tells us that even while we were sinners Christ died for us (Romans 5v8). It is
God that justifies us, He is the Judge of all the earth, and He has made us
right with Himself, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. If He says you are
fine, who dares accuse you? On the other hand, you cannot justify your own self
– not by works, or good deeds, or any other means. Indeed Isaiah 64v6 (NLT)
says “We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous
deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and
fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind”. However, 2 Corinthians 5v17 (KJV)
tells us “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things
are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Hallelujah. We thank God for being our Justifier,
for bringing us into right relationship with Him, and no one can come forward
and accuse us and impeach us, for it is God who justifies us. The devil (who is
the accuser of the brethren) may try, others may try, your past may try, you
may try, but remember, “THEREFORE, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging
guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not
after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit” (Romans
8v1, AMP).
Prayer
Lord God Almighty, we thank You for
justifying us. Thank You Jesus for dying for us. Thank You Father for
confirming us with Your Holy Spirit. All glory, honor, power, belong to You in
Jesus name, amen.
