Our Saviour
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope
well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“Who is he that condemneth? It is
Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right
hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” Romans 8v34 (KJV)
“Who is there to condemn [us]? Will
Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead,
Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?”
Romans 8v34 (AMP)
“Who can say God’s people are guilty?
No one, because Christ Jesus died, but He was also raised from the dead, and now
He is on God’s right side, appealing to God for us.” Romans 8v34 (NCV)
Christ laid down His life for us. He
took our place, and took our sins upon Him. And now, through faith in Him, we
have peace with God. “Who then will condemn us? No one – for Christ Jesus died
for us and was raised to life for us, and He is sitting in the place of honor
at God’s right hand, pleading for us” Romans 8v34 (NLT). Imagine two friends,
and one did something horribly wrong and had to pay the penalty for it. But his
friend says, I will take the blame, I will pay the price for you, and he does.
And so the innocent took the place of the guilty, and now the guilty one
doesn’t have to pay that price anymore. That’s what Jesus did for us. Indeed,
our righteousness is of God. 1 Corinthians 5v21 (AMP) telling us that “He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our
behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we
would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by
His gracious lovingkindness].”
Prayer
Father, we thank You for salvation. We
thank You Jesus for dying for us, and now interceding for us. Thank You because
there is now no condemnation for us who are in Christ Jesus who walk not after
the flesh, but after the Spirit. Thank You Holy Spirit of God for Your presence
with us. Lord God Almighty, we celebrate You, we love You, we adore You, we are
proud of You, we glorify and honor You now and always in Jesus name, amen.
