Fear not
Hello everyone,
How are you doing? I hope well and
bubbling in the Lord.

Text
“Fear not; for I am with thee…” Isaiah
41v10 (KJV)
“Do not fear [anything], for I am with
you;” Isaiah 41v10 (AMP)
Isaiah 41v10 is a scripture that has
been a source of encouragement through the years. There are many things that
can cause fear in the life of believers – the future, the present, the past,
life, daily occurrences, exams, deadlines, work, decisions, money or the lack
of it…. so many things. But God tells us not to fear, and the reason is that He
is with us. As is said, one with God is a majority. What is it that is causing
you to be afraid – don’t be. With God with you, all will be well. Romans 8v37
(AMP) reminds us “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain
an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much so that He died for
us]”. We are not conquerors or victors through our strength, intellect,
abilities, but because of Jesus who loves us, and nothing can separate us from
the love of God demonstrated through Christ (Romans 8v38). Is a big and mighty
Goliath standing before you? Why don’t you call to remembrance the lion and the
bear that God has saved you from in the past? Are you worried about your faith?
Why not surrender to Him of whom it is said “And now – all glory to Him who
alone is God, who saves us through Jesus Christ our Lord; yes, splendor and
majesty, all power and authority are His from the beginning; His they are and His
they evermore shall be. And He is able to keep you from slipping and falling
away, and to bring you, sinless and perfect, into His glorious presence with
mighty shouts of everlasting joy. Amen” (Jude 1v24-25, TLB). Are you concerned
about tomorrow and what you will eat, drink, finances, school fees? Psalm 34v10
(KJV) tells us “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek
the LORD shall not want any good thing.” Hallelujah.
Prayer
Father, we thank You for Your Word and
Your presence with us. Because of that, we will not be afraid. Help us o God to
remain strengthened in You. We pray that You will direct us to scripture that
address our every situation and bring them to our remembrance that our faith
might be strengthened and we will fight with them when the enemy brings fear
and discouragement our way in Jesus name, amen.
