Don’t Forget
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on
this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for another day
that He has made that we can rejoice and be glad in Him. He is truly a good and
a faithful God, and we bless His holy name.
Primary Text
“Let all that I am
praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise His holy name. Let all that
I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things He does for me.” Psalm
103v1-2 (NLT)
And the Psalmist goes
on to list different benefits that the Lord does (See below). But sometimes we
tend to forget. We look at the things that aren’t happening at that point in
time or not working out and forget to thank Him for the things that He has done
or is doing or His promises. The children of Israel used to forget too, and
again it is easy to look at the accounts about them in the Bible and think,
how. For instance, the Bible talks about after God had rebuked the Red sea, led
them through, covered their enemies with water, “Then believed they His words;
they sang His praise. They soon forgat His works; they waited not for His
counsel:” Psalm 106v12-13 (KJV). Let’s count and remember God’s blessings to us
:- )
Supplementary Text:
“Who forgiveth all
thine inquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from
destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who
satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the
eagle’s. The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are
oppressed. He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of
Israel. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in
mercy. He will not always chide: neither will He keep His anger for ever. He
hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our
iniquities.” Psalm 103v3-10 (KJV)
Prayer Point
Father, we thank You
so much for Word this day. We thank You for Jesus, for the Cross, for the
blood, for the Holy Spirit, for everything. We pray that we will always, each
and everyday have a song of praise and thanks on our lips, and Your joy in our
hearts, in Jesus name, amen.
