The God of the Impossible!

Hello everybody,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Our God is truly a God who specializes in doing the impossible. Psalm 136v4 (NLT) says “Give thanks to Him who alone does mighty miracles. His faithful love endures forever.”

Primary Text
“And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto His disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” Mark 10v23-27 (KJV)

With God, all things are possible. All things. Not some things, but all things. Even the salvation of people who seem to be very far from loving God, the greatest atheist, or skeptics. Even Paul who called himself the chief of sinners, was God saved by God (1 Timothy 1v15). Beloved, what is it that you are fighting against? Is it some sin or life controlling habit? Is it a disease or sickness? Is it something the doctors do not understand? Is it something in your past, some shame, embarrassment? Is it a lack or a need?  Why don’t you take it to the Lord? There is nothing too hard for Him. Who are you believing God for – a family member, a loved one, a friend – don’t give up praying and believing God for their salvation, or job, or life, or for a change for good to come. For, is there any thing too hard for the LORD? (Genesis 18v14; Jeremiah 32v27). The analogy being given here, even by the Lord Himself, was of a camel (which has humps) going through the eye of a needle. It is that difficult for those who trust in riches to make it to heaven. And the disciples’ response was that if they cannot be saved, who then can be saved? And what was the reply of the Lord – with men it is impossible, but not with God. Beloved, perhaps it is time to make your life, your situation, your destiny, your purpose, your family and relationships, your fears, a “God thing.” Stop making it a man thing. With men, so many things are impossible. Make it a “God thing, a God issue.”
