Patience in tribulation!
Hello everyone,
How are you
doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“Better is the
end of a thing than the beginning thereof: … ” Ecclesiastes 7v8 (KJV)
Knowing that the
end of a matter is better than the beginning gives us reason encourages us to
be patient in tribulation. We know for example that in the world we will have
tribulation, but we can be of good cheer because Jesus has deprived the world
of the power to harm us (John 16v33). We see various examples of men and women
of faith who went through intense trials – Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego,
Abraham, Sarah – but at the end, they came out of it, and even got great reward
out of it. 1 Peter 5v10 (AMP) says “And after you have suffered a little while,
the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you
to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you
what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and
settle you.”

“And the LORD
turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave
Job twice as much as he had before. Then came there unto him all his brethren,
and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and
did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him
over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a
piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. So the LORD blessed the
latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep,
and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
He had also seven sons and three daughters.” Job 42v10-13 (KJV)
Prayer
Father, we thank
You because we can be patient in tribulation and there is an end. Father, the
strength and patience to go through the due process in every trial, please
grant unto me in Jesus name, amen.
