Your decision!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“By which also He went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometimes were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.” 1 Peter 3v19-20 (KJV)

I have heard it said that you cannot control another person’s actions but only yours. However, it is easy to allow other people determine your mood, feelings, actions e.t.c. And unfortunately, some have used the actions of others to hinder their own faith – either whether or not they would follow Jesus, citing that some Christians act wrongfully, or perhaps in refusing to forgive one person or the other. But at the end of the day, we all will give account for things done in our body, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5v10 (KJV) says “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” The verses above tells us that while there were those that were disobedient during the time of Noah, and only 8 people were saved, after Jesus was made alive, He went to preach to those who were long ago disobedient. We come across different people in life. But sometimes we get out of touch with them. If you use someone as an excuse for not doing what God will have you do, you never know if down the line they will go and make themselves right with God. There are those who in their old age have given their lives to Christ. You make things right with God. You make sure you have your conscience free with God and man. God is faithful and merciful, and He doesn’t want any to perish but all to go to repentance. Believe God for those who are misbehaving or not following God, but make sure you are fine with the Lord.

Supplementary Text
“[Prompted] by faith Noah, being forewarned by God concerning events of which as yet there was no visible sign, took heed and diligently and reverently constructed and prepared an ark for the deliverance of his own family. By this [his faith which relied on God] he passed judgment and sentence on the world’s unbelief and became an heir and possessor of righteousness (that relation of being right into which God puts the person who has faith).” Hebrews 11v7 (AMP)

Prayer
Make things right with God in case it is not right now for one reason or the other.
