29 July 2012: He is Risen!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from a clean conscience. It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 3v21 (NLT)

Praise the Lord. We serve a living God. Revelations 1v4-6 (AMP) says “John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirit which are before His throne; And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” Our Lord is the first begotten of the dead. We thank God that He is risen. 1 Corinthians 15v19-20 (AMP) says “If we who are [abiding] in Christ have hope only in this life and that is all, then we are of all people most miserable and to be pitied. But the fact is that Christ (the Messiah) has been raised from the dead, and He became the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep [in death].” And one thing our Lord does for us is to intercede for us – “Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.” (Hebrews 7v25, KJV).

Supplementary Text
“But each in his own rank and turn: Christ (the Messiah) [is] the firstfruits, then those who are Christ’s [own will be resurrected] at His coming.” 1 Corinthians 15v23 (AMP)

Prayer
Heavenly Father we thank You for this day. We thank You for Christ is risen and He is our Lord. Hallowed be Your name forevermore in Jesus name, amen.
