Anointing for Work
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and
bubbling in the Lord.
Primary
Text
And the Lord said to Moses, See, I have
called by name Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. And I
have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and ability, in
understanding and intelligence, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of
craftsmanship, To devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in
bronze, And in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work
in all kinds of craftsmanship.” Exodus 31v1-5 (AMP)
Many of us have different types of work
– doctors, teachers, craftsmen, consultants, engineers, lawyers, human resource
coordinators e.t.c. God can equip a person for their particular work to enable
them to carry it out effectively. In the verses above, we see how God anointed
Bezalel to be able to do all works of craftsmanship. We see as well how God set
apart the Hebrew children in Daniel 1v17-20 (AMP) which says “As for these four
youths, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom, and
Daniel had understanding in all [kinds of] visions and dreams.
Now at the end of the time which the king had set for
bringing [all the young men in], the chief of the eunuchs brought them before
Nebuchadnezzar. And the king conversed with them, and among them all none was
found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; therefore they were assigned
to stand before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding
concerning which the king asked them, he found them ten times better than all
the [learned] magicians and enchanters who were in his whole realm.”
Prayer
Father, I thank You for Your Word. I
pray that all that I need to effectively carry out my work, please grant unto
me in Jesus name, amen.
