How hot is your love?

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

“May the Lord direct your hearts into [realizing and showing] the love of God and into the steadfastness and patience of Christ and in waiting for His return.” 2 Thessalonians 3v5 (AMP)

“May the Lord bring you into an ever deeper understanding of the love of God and of the patience that comes from Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 3v5 (TLB)

The Bible lets us know that “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold” (Matthew 24v12, KJV). Beloved, how is your love for the Lord today? Is it waxing cold? Are you departing from your first love? Oh, that the Lord will direct our hearts into realizing and showing the love of God. Revelation 2v1-7 (NIV) shows us the message that was given to the Church in Ephesus: ““To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of Him who holds the seven stars in His right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands. I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.”” May the Lord direct our hearts in the love of God to love Him more and more in Jesus name, amen.

Beloved, why don’t you search yourself, examine yourself if you are still in the faith, and if your love for the Lord and the love of God in you is growing cold. And cry out to God to help you.
