The God who Answers

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

“I love the Lord because he hears my prayers and answers them. Because he bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I breathe!” Psalm 116v1-2 (TLB)

We thank God because we do not only have a God who hears us but also answers us. Hallelujah. What a relief! What a wonder He is that we call upon Him and He answers us. He is not like any other. Isaiah 65v24 (TLB) says “I will answer them before they even call to Me. While they are still talking to Me about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!” He gave us eyes and He sees, ears and He hears, a mouth and He speaks. Hallelujah. 1 John 5v14-15 (AMP) says “And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to us and hears us. And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.” Praise the Lord.

Prayer

Why don’t you dig into the Word of God and see what the Lord says about that situation and begin to pray for that need or desire that you have. Also let the Holy Spirit guide you as you pray, to ensure you are praying in agreement with His will and plan.
