Over and Over Help

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! A river brings joy to the city of our God, the sacred home of the Most High. God dwells in that city; it cannot be destroyed. From the very break of day, God will protect it. The nations are in chaos, and their kingdoms crumble! God’s voice thunders, and the earth melts! The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress. Come, see the glorious works of the Lord: See how He brings destruction upon the world. He causes wars to end throughout the earth. He breaks the bow and snaps the spear; He burns the shields with fire. “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress.” Psalm 46 (NLT)

Because the Lord has invited you on a journey, on this walk of faith, does not mean that there won’t be obstacles on the way and everything will be smooth. On the contrary, we know that as long as we are in this world, we will have tribulations. The assurance that we have is that Jesus has overcome the world for us and that we have victory – “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” (John 16v33, AMP). We know as well that God is there to help us. Beloved, God is not tired of being there for you, neither will He ever be. In 1 Chronicles 16, we find how King Asa did foolishly because he relied on the Lord in time past, but failed to do so again. So “Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail)” (Psalm 55v22, AMP). Hallelujah! So fear not, for God is with thee, be not dismayed, for He is thy God, He will strengthen you, He will help you, He will uphold you with the right hand of His righteousness (Isaiah 41v10). Hallelujah!

Prayer
Father we honour You. Indeed You have been our help in ages past and our hope for years to come. We remember the years of the right hand of the Lord. How You have saved us, favoured us, kept us, and helped us. Blessed be Your holy name forevermore. Why don’t you go ahead and cast your cares upon Him again.
