By His Will

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:” Ephesians 1v1 (KJV)

If you could have a conversation with the Apostle Paul, what would you ask him? What are your thoughts about his past, his conversion to Christianity and how he lived his life? What do you think he would tell you? Well, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, there was a lot that he has already said to the church. One thing we learn from Paul is about grace. He called himself the chief among sinners (1 Timothy 1v15), but was used mightily by God. This lets us know that our past does not dictate or limit what God can do with our lives. Beloved, Paul in Ephesians 1v1 mentions that he is an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God. Indeed, we become born of God, by the will of God. Thus John 1v12-13 (AMP) says “But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name— who were born, not of blood [natural conception], nor of the will of the flesh [physical impulse], nor of the will of man [that of a natural father], but of God [that is, a divine and supernatural birth—they are born of God—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified].” When we receive and welcome Christ, God begins to do a tremendous work in our lives. His great plans and purposes for us are put into place as we hand over the reins of our lives, times, and all to Him to take His place and be glorified. Ephesians 2v10 (TLB) says “It is God Himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago He planned that we should spend these lives in helping others.” God has a plan for your life dear one. I pray that you will daily welcome and receive Him, denying yourself and your will, and let Him bring these to pass in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer

Father, I thank You for Your Word this day. Daddy, Proverbs 19v21 says “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.” Lord I pray that truly Your counsel concerning my life will prevail in Jesus name, amen. Let me indeed do those works that You prepared in advance for me to do and be all that You would have me be in Jesus name, amen.
