Psalm 91v15c!
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text: Psalm 91:15
“… I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.” Psalm 91v15 (KJV)
“… I will be with them in trouble, I will rescue them and honor them.” Psalm 91v15 (NCV)
Many times when we are in trouble, we reeeeeaaaalllly want to get out of it real quick. But sometimes, at the end of these trials and troubles, there is an elevation that comes. Here in Psalm 91, God says He will be with us in trouble, He will deliver us and honour us. We see in the life of Joseph, after all what he went through, at the end of the day, he ended up being the prime minister. Let us consider Jesus as well, who endured the shame on the Cross, humbling Himself unto death, and now He has been given a name which is above every other name.
Supplementary Texts
“Then Nebuchadnezzar came as close as he could to the door of the flaming furnace and shouted: “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!” So Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stepped out of the fire. Then the high officers, officials, governors, and advisers crowded around them and saw that the fire had not touched them. Not a hair on their heads was singed, and their clothing was not scorched. They didn’t even smell of smoke! Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent His angel to rescue His servants who trusted in Him. They defied the king’s command and were willing to die rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. Therefore, I make this decree: If any people, whatever their race or nation or language, speak a word against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they will be torn limb from limb, and their houses will be turned into heaps of rubble. There is no other god who can rescue like this!” Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to even higher positions in the province of Babylon.” Daniel 3v26-30 (NLT)
“Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.” James 1v2-4 (AMP)
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12v2 (KJV)
Prayer
Father, thank You so much because not only are You with me in trouble, but You deliver me and honor me, in Jesus name, amen.
