Psalm 91v16!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His faithfulness, His mercies, His lovingkindness, for everything. We thank Him for His protection, for watching over us, and for life. God is saying that for as many as have made Him their refuge, and the most High their habitation, not only will He deliver them from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence, cover them with His feathers, and under His wings shall they trust …

Primary Text: Psalm 91:16
“With long life will I satisfy him,...” Psalm 91v16 (KJV)
“I will reward them with a long life...” Psalm 91v16 (NLT)
“I will give them a long, full life, …” Psalm 91v16 (NCV)

We thank God for this promise of long life. Jesus Himself said He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. “And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent” (John 17v3). And we know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111v10, Proverbs 9v10). When you fear the Lord, you tend to walk in wisdom, in ways that are pleasing to Him, and there are many benefits that come with that (see Proverbs 3).

Supplementary Texts
“The right hand of the Lord is exalted; the right hand of the Lord does valiantly and achieves strength! I shall not die but live, and shall declare the works and recount the illustrious acts of the Lord. The Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over to death.” Psalm 118v16-18 (AMP)

“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” John 10v10 (AMP)

“My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart. If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying…. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones…. Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding. For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold. Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you can desire can compare with her. She offers you long life in her right hand, and riches and honor in her left. She will guide you down delightful paths; all her ways are satisfying. Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her; happy are those who hold her tightly…. My child, don’t lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them, for they will refresh your soul. They are like jewels on a necklace. They keep you safe on your way, and your feet will not stumble. You can go to bed without fear; you will lie down and sleep soundly. You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked, for the LORD is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.” Proverbs 3v1-2, 7-8, 13-18, 21-26 (NLT)

Prayer
Father, thank You for satisfying me with long life, in Jesus name, amen.
