Our God…
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. There is a song I really like. It’s called “Our God” by Chris Tomlin, and the lyrics go:
“Water You turned into wine, opened the eyes of the blind there’s no one like You, none like You! Into the darkness You shine, out of the ashes we rise there’s no one like You, none like You! Our God is greater, our God is stronger, God You are higher than any other. Our God is Healer, Awesome in Power, our God! Our God!
And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us. And if our God is with us, then what could stand against. And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us. And if our God is with us, then what could stand against? What could stand against?”

Indeed the Bible tells us in Romans 8v31 that:
Primary Text: Romans 8v31
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8v31 (KJV)
“What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]” Romans 8v31 (AMP)
“So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose?” Romans 8v31 (MSG)
If the God of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things is for you, who can be against you? If the One who spoke the world into existence, and caused the children of Israel to walk on dry land in the midst of the Red Sea is for you, who can be against you? If the One who is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient is for you, who can be against You? I am reminded of the time Elisha was able to warn the king of Israel about the plans of the king of Syria (2 Kings 6v8-12) Remember too when the angel of the Lord told Joseph to take Mary and then baby Jesus to Egypt, because of Herod that will seek Jesus to kill Him? (Matthew 2:13). Our God is awesome in power, great and greatly to be praised. Child of God, dearly beloved, if God be for you, who can be against you? Is God for you?
Supplementary Text:
“Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4v4 (AMP)
“My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from Me, for My Father has given them to Me, and He is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.”” John 10v27-30 (NLT).
“Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space; And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men. For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought. After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed. And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.” Acts 5v34-39 (KJV)
Prayer
Father, thank You, thank You, thank You for being for us in Jesus name, amen.
