Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope
well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for calling us to be His own.

“Paul, called to be an apostle of
Christ Jesus by the will of God,…” 1 Corinthians 1v1 (NIV)
Paul, formerly Saul, was called to be
an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God. God wanted it that way. Though
he had persecuted the Church, consented to the death of Stephen, God had a plan
for his life. Acts 8v3 (NIV) says “But Saul began to destroy the church. Going
from house to house, he dragged off men and women and put them in prison.”
Beloved, it doesn’t matter what your past was like, and what you have done
before. The blood of Jesus is powerful enough to wash away all of your sins, and
because you have received Jesus and believe on His name, you have been given
the right to be called a child of God. You are not born of the will of man, or
a husband, but of God (John 1v12-13). Paul said of himself that “Christ Jesus
came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief” (1 Timothy 1v15) and
the Lord in His infinite mercy, still chose to use him. Are you weighed down by
your past, burdened by guilt and shame and wondering how the Lord can use you?
He called you, with full knowledge of all that you were, and he has made you a
new creature in Him. Rejoice!

Text
“We are assured and know that [God
being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into
a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to
[His] design and purpose. For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and
loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to
be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He
might be the firstborn among many brethren. And those whom He thus
foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified
(acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And
those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity
and condition or state of being].” Romans 8v28-30 (AMP)
