Peace with God!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“Grace (favor and spiritual blessing) be to you and [heart] peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 1v3 (AMP)

Peace is so important to have. Peace with God, peace as we go about our daily lives, and peace when we are troubled. We know from Isaiah 48v22 (NIV) that “There is no peace,” says the LORD, “for the wicked.” But as children of God who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, you need to know that God is not mad at you and that you have peace with God. Romans 5v1-2 (NLT) tells us “Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.” When the enemy comes with accusation against you, know that because of your faith in Jesus and what He has done for us, you have peace with God – and you can confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. Romans 8v33-34 (NLT) says “Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for His own? No one – for God Himself has given us right standing with Himself. Who then will condemn us? No one – for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and He is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.” Amen.

Supplementary Text
“Therefore, since we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of God’s favor) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.” Romans 5v1-2 (AMP)

Prayer
Father, we thank You for Your Word and for what Jesus did for us on the Cross of Calvary. We thank You because we have peace with God. We bless You because we have access to the throne of grace. We come against every lie and condemnation of the devil to bring guilt and shame upon us. We thank You for our names that have been written in the book of life. For our friends and loved ones who do not yet know You, we pray that You will send laborers to them in Jesus name, amen. We pray for strength and protection for believers, missionaries and those being persecuted because of Christ. Thank You Father for everything in Jesus name we pray, amen.
