Grace
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God
for His grace upon our lives.
Primary Text
“Grace
(favor and spiritual blessing) be to you …” 1 Corinthians 1v3 (AMP)
I’ve
heard grace described as unmerited favor. God has extended His grace towards
you and I. It is not because we deserve it, but because He chose to do so. We
see this grace in the salvation of our souls, even as Ephesians 2v4-5 (NLT)
says “But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, that even though we
were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when He raised Christ from the
dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!). Thank God for His
grace! Not only do we enjoy the grace of God in salvation, but throughout our
lives, and for different circumstances. For example, we see in 1 Corinthians
15v10 (AMP) the apostle Paul saying “But by the grace (the unmerited favor and
blessing) of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not [found to be]
for nothing (fruitless and without effect). In fact, I worked harder than all
of them [the apostles], though it was not really I, but the grace (the
unmerited favor and blessing) of God which was with me.” Thank God for His
grace and that we can call upon His grace in our weaknesses and in our time of
need.
Supplementary Text
“But
He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for
you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble
manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed)
and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all
the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and
power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell
upon me! So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in
infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for
when I am weak [in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful in
divine strength).” 2 Corinthians 12v9-10 (AMP)
Prayer
Father,
we thank You so much for Your Word and for Your grace. We thank You for Your
grace is enough for us. We thank You for everything, in Jesus name, amen. [Why don’t you ask the Lord for grace
in whatever area you need it now].
