Pray and Don’t Faint

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. I feel led to encourage us this morning from Luke 18v1 (Classic Amplified Bible) which says Also [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).” Beloved, we ought always to pray and not to faint. Habakkuk 2v3 (Classic Amplified Version) encourages us that “For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.”

Oftentimes, when we are looking up to God for something, it is easy to become discouraged, and to lose hope. We want to look for other options to “help God” or quickly say, maybe it is not God’s will for my life. But see what the Lord would have us know in 1 Thessalonians 5v17-19 (The Message): “Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.” No matter what happens, be cheerful, keep on praying and be thankful to God. Haven’t you had testimonies where you begin to say thank God, He let things work out this way or that way? Romans 8v28 (Classic Amplified Version) says “We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.” Beloved, everything is fitting into a plan, in God’s way.

Indeed God’s ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55v8-10), but we can never doubt that He has our best interest at heart. He already gave His Son to die for us. Romans 8v32 (Classic Amplified Version) says “He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?” If He has said it, it will surely come to pass: “so also is My word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It shall accomplish all I want it to and prosper everywhere I send it” (Isaiah 55v11, The Living Bible). Therefore, be encouraged from Psalm 27v13-14 (The Message), “I’m sure now I’ll see God’s goodness in the exuberant earth. Stay with God! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with God.”

Prayer
Father, we thank You so very much for this day and for Your love for us. We pray for grace to always wait on You, seek Your face, pray, rejoice in our faith in You, give You thanks and stay with You regardless of what we are experiencing. We know that Your ways are not our ways, and that all things are fitting into Your plan for our lives. Thank You Father, in Jesus name, amen.
