Answered Prayer

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text

“And hereby do we know that we know Him…” 1 John 2v3 (KJV)

One of the beautiful things that we have as believers is the ability to come boldly to our God and fellowship with Him; to ask for things in the name of Jesus, and to get answers to our prayers. Although we were previously far away, we have been drawn near to Him by the blood of Jesus. Hebrews 10v21-22 (TLB) says “And since this High Priest of ours rules over God’s household, let us go right in to God Himself, with true hearts fully trusting Him to receive us because we have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean and because our bodies have been washed with pure water.” Hallelujah. One reason we know that we know God then is that we have our prayers answered. 1 John 3v21-22 (AMP) says “And, beloved, if our consciences (our hearts) do not accuse us [if they do not make us feel guilty and condemn us], we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God, And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we [watchfully] obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him.”

“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.” 1 John 5v14-15 (KJV)

Prayer

Father God, we thank You for the relationship we have with You. Thank You for Your eyes are upon us and Your ears are attentive to our cry. Thank You for answering our prayers. Thank You for revealing who You are to us and what You would have us do, that we may please You in every way in Jesus name we pray, amen.
