2 Marys (2)
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you in Jesus name, amen. The Bible records that:
“And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to Thy word. And the angel departed from her.” Luke 1v38
And it was said to her of her cousin Elizabeth:
“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Luke 1v45
Like Mary, perhaps in this New Year, certain words have been spoken to you. Perhaps you have been told you are blessed and highly favoured, the Lord is with you, and blessed are you among all people (Luke 1v28). Perhaps you have been told that you have found favour with God and you should not be afraid (Luke 1v30). Perhaps particular things have been told to you that sound as incredulous to you as when Mary heard that she a virgin was going to be with child. Perhaps they are all things that you have heard and known that it is only the hand of God that can bring it to pass. What is your response? Brethren, let it be one of faith and joy just as Mary’s was. Don’t miss out on all the wonderful things God has in store for you this year, even if you don’t see how it is going to be. He is God, and He is the One:
“…Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] –
To Him be glory in the church in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).” Ephesians 3v21-21 (Amplified Bible)
Have a very blessed day.
