Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – Out of the fire!
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His mighty mighty victory which He gives to His children, seeing them through the waters and fires of life, and ensuring that they have the victory and His name alone is glorified.
“Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire passed on them.” Daniel 3v26-27
Please note:
1. They came out of the fire i.e. they did not die there, they lived
2. It was seen that the fire had no power over their bodies!
3. It was seen that no hair on their head was singed
4. It was seen that neither were their coats changed
5. It was seen that the smell of the fire did not pass on them
Basically, they came out as though they had never even been through a burning fiery furnace. With Jesus, those who sought to put you in trouble will see you and it would be as if you did not even experience any bad thing, though they know you went through it because they were monitoring your affairs. But you, you will have had a fantastic experience walking with Your Saviour in the midst of the fire, and coming out to the amazement of others. Hallelujah!
