Marriage
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His Word which says that “Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.” (Hebrews 13v4; NIV)
Now the Bible tells us that:
“The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
They forbid people to marry…” 1 Timothy 4v1-3
Some of the teachings which would be distributed in the later times, is a forbidding to marriage. Now more generally, what reasons would someone give when they forbid you to do something, like a parent to a child, or a teacher to a student, or a police officer to a driver for instance. They may forbid you because it is not good for you; it might be dangerous for you; it is not meant for you, though others may use it; it could be that they have tried that particular thing and it didn’t work well or suit them; it could be outside the laws of the land and be potentially dangerous to those around you; it could be that it would not lead to the well-being of the society; on a lesser note, it could be that they have an alternative way of doing it.
Be careful what messages you are listening to. The Spirit has spoken clearly about this issue.
