His Witness!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His goodness, His grace, His wisdom. Did you know that you are a witness for God? The dictionary calls a witness one who:
- One who can give a firsthand account of something seen, heard, or experienced: a witness to the accident
- an individual who, being present, personally sees or perceives a thing; a beholder, spectator, or eyewitness
- a person or thing that affords evidence (www.dictionary.com)

Now, not many of us would be called to be witnesses in the court of law during our lifetime. But how many of you know that we are witnesses for the Lord. We can give firsthand account of things we have seen Him do, heard Him say or heard that HE did, or experienced for ourselves. For instance, you can be a witness to the fact that He answers prayers. You can be a witness to the fact that He can comfort and bring joy. You can be a witness to the fact that He provides. The book of Luke starts of with Luke saying:

“Many people have set out to write accounts about the events that have been fulfilled among us.
They used the eyewitness reports circulating among us from the early disciples.
Having carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I also have decided to write a careful account for you, most honorable Theophilus,
so you can be certain of the truth of everything you were taught.” Luke 1v1-4 (New Living Translation)

John writes in 1 John 1 that:
“We proclaim to you the One who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw Him with our own eyes and touched Him with our own hands. He is the Word of life.
This One who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen Him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that He is the One who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then He was revealed to us.
We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
We are writing these things so that you may fully share our joy.” 1 John 1v1-4 (New Living Translation)

How many of you know that you are His witness, and can say to others that I proclaim to you what I have actually seen and heard …

Have a very blessed day.
