Psalm 77: Who is so great a god as our God?

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Happy 4th month of the year. We thank God for His goodness, His faithfulness, His lovingkindness, for who He is to us. Have you ever realized how when you hear good things about a person, and people are talking about this particular person, after a while, you begin to nod in agreement that, it’s true, this person is indeed a great person. The same way when you begin to talk and think and meditate about the deeds and wonders of God, you will, after a while, you would come to the same conclusion that we see in Psalm 77v13:

“Your ways, O God, are holy. What god is so great as our God?” Psalm 77v13 (NIV)
“Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?” Psalm 77v13 (KJV)

Some of the things He has done, of which you probably can identify with – He saved us, gave us a new life, forgave us for our sins, gave us His Son to die for us, raised Him up, and so now we are justified, made us the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, did not leave us as orphans, but gave us His Spirit to dwell with us and live in us, woke us up this morning, gave and has been giving us food to eat, our bodies are intact, gave us the gift of friendship, poured His love into our hearts, helped us through school, comforted us when we were down, encouraged us….

Gave Abraham who was very old a child, and made him the father of many nations; closed the mouths of the lions when Daniel was tossed in (and when his accusers were thrown in, the lions’ mouths were opened); was the 4th Man in the fiery furnace when Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were put in and they came out unharmed, but those who threw them in were burned because of the heat; parted the Red sea and the children of Israel went through on dry land, and the Egyptians drowned in it when they tried to follow; brought down the walls of Jericho without the use of bulldozers, but with a loud shout after the children of Israel had walked around it for 7 days,…

Gave direction when we needed it; when men were cast down, we were lifted up; gave us testimonies; answered us when we called upon Him; was never late, always on time …. Hallelujah… Is there any god as great or as holy as our God…. None at all. Isn’t HE worthy of our praise… He is. Think on His goodness. He will never fail you nor forsake you, and He is very much still in the business of specializing in impossibilities. Encourage yourself as David did, in the Lord!

Have a very blessed day.
