All power ...

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text

“To Him be the dominion (power, authority, rule) forever and ever. Amen (so be it).” 1 Peter 5v11 (AMP)

“He gets the last word; yes, He does.” 1 Peter 5v11 (MSG).

Hallelujah, all glory, honor, power, majesty, dominion belongs to our God. He reigns in majesty, He reigns above all gods. Blessed be His holy name forevermore. Psalm 62v11-12 (AMP) says “God has spoken once, twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God. Also to You, O Lord, belong mercy and loving-kindness, for You render to every man according to his word.” Power can be seen as the ability to do something. How God has the ability to do. 1 Timothy 1v17 (NIV) says “Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” I love to say that our God specializes in the impossibilities (power belongs to Him). “… He works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will.” (Ephesians 1v11, AMP). He has the final say. Mark 10v27 says “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” He is the Game changer. When He intervenes, that which was called hopeless, becomes full of hope. Our lives without Jesus was without hope, but when He came into our lives, He made us new creatures, giving us hope not only in this world but in that which is to come. The wise men in Babylon, including Daniel were sentenced to death because no one could tell, let alone interpret the king’s dream. But Daniel went to seek the face of the Almighty, All-powerful God, and asked his three friends to do the same, and God revealed the dream to him. “Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are His: And He changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings, and setteth up kings: He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with Him.” (Daniel 2v20-22, KJV). Amen! Luke 1v36-37 (AMP) says “And listen! Your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is now the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.” Be encouraged!
