When it’s all been said and done …

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Happy happy happy Sunday!

Primary Text
“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.” 1 Peter 5v10 (AMP)

Psalm 30v5 tells us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning, while Ecclesiastes 3v1 (KJV) says “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Beloved, our God is a good God and one of grace. Remember, He is the One who called you. I am reminded of when Jesus told His disciples, let us go over to the other side, and then a storm arose, and Jesus was asleep. And the disciples are asking, “Master, carest Thou not that we perish?” (Mark 4v38, KJV). They could see the storm, the waves, the water was coming into the boat, and for all intents and purposes, they were going to drown if something did not happen very soon. “And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And He said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?” (Mark 4v39-41, KJV). Beloved, God has called us to share in His eternal glory by means of Jesus Christ. Though what you might be experiencing today may not seem glorious, but God’s ways are not our ways. Remember, “These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold – though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.” (1 Peter 1v7, NLT). Today we are encouraged, that after we have suffered a little while, basically for a particular period in time, that this great God of ours, will “restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation.” (1 Peter 5v10, NLT). Hallelujah!

Supplementary Text
“Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.” James 1v2-4 (AMP)

Prayer
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Word. Father I pray that after I have suffered a little, that You will Yourself complete and make me what I ought to be, establish and ground me securely, and strengthen, and settle me, in Jesus name, amen.
