His Power

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

“According as His divine power…” 2 Peter 2v1(KJV)

Once the Sadducees came to Jesus with a question on marriage and the resurrection. Matthew 22v29 (NIV) records “Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.” May we not be in error for lack of this same knowledge in Jesus name, amen. When the angel of the Lord came to Mary, that she who was a virgin would be with child. Understandably, “Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Our God has the power to make the impossible possible. How can a sinner become a child of God? John 1v10-13 (AMP) says “He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him [did not know Him]. He came to that which belonged to Him [to His own – His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him. But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name – Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!].” Haaaallllleeeeluuujaaaah!

Our heavenly Father, we thank You so very much for today. Father we ask, that we may know what is the greatness of Your power in and for us who believe in Jesus name, amen.
