God the Son
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“For
He [the Father] has put all things in subjection under His [Christ’s] feet. But
when it says, All things are put in subjection [under Him], it is evident that
He [Himself] is excepted Who does the subjecting of all things to Him. However,
when everything is subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will also subject
Himself to [the Father] Who put all things under Him, so that God may be all in
all [be everything to everyone, supreme, the indwelling and controlling factor
of life].” 1 Corinthians 15v27-28 (AMP)
The
Scripture all speak of Jesus, the Son of God. In Genesis 3v15 (AMP), God told
the serpent, who had tempted Eve that “And I will put enmity between you and
the woman, and between your offspring and her Offspring; He will bruise and
tread your head underfoot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel.” Jesus
is also the Word. John 1v1-3 (AMP) says “In the beginning [before all time] was
the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He
was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence
through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into
being.” Many acknowledge God, but do not want to acknowledge Jesus. In John
14v1-6 (KJV) Jesus said “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God,
believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so,
I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare
a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I
am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas
saith unto Him, Lord, we know not whither Thou goest; and how can we know the
way? Jesus saith unto Him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh
unto the Father, but my Me.”
Supplementary Text
“Then
Jesus quoted them passage after passage from the writings of the prophets,
beginning with the book of Genesis and going right on through the Scriptures,
explaining what the passages meant and what the said about Himself.” Luke 24v27
(TLB)
Prayer
Perhaps you have not acknowledged
God’s Son as Lord and Saviour and would want to do so, the Bible says “That if
you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that
God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that
you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and
are saved.” Romans 10v9-10
You can say this prayer: Heavenly
Father, I come to You today, confessing that I am a sinner. I am sorry for all
that I have done and ask that You forgive me for all of my sins and cleanse me
from all unrighteousness. Lord Jesus, I ask that You be Lord and Saviour over
my life. I believe that You came to die for my sins, and that God raised You
from the dead. Thank You Father for translating me out of the kingdom of
darkness into the Kingdom of Your dear Son. Thank You for sealing me with Your
Holy Spirit of promise. Please keep me till the end in You, and may Your Name
alone be glorified in my life, in Jesus name I pray, amen.
If you said this prayer today,
know that you are now born-again, and a child of God and that there is much
jubilation in heaven because of you. Begin to attend a Bible-believing church,
and keep the faith! Welcome into God’s family.
