Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory (2)

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.” Romans 15v13 (AMP)

“We are praying, too, that you will be filled with His mighty, glorious strength so that you can keep going no matter what happens – always full of the joy of the Lord, and always thankful to the Father who has made us fit to share all the wonderful things that belong to those who live in the Kingdom of light. For He has rescued us out of the darkness and gloom of Satan’s kingdom and brought us into the Kingdom of His dear Son, who bought our freedom with His blood and forgave us all our sins.” Colossians 1v11-14 (TLB)

Amen. There is a joy that comes out of the experience of our faith. A joy that comes from the relationship that we have with the living God. This joy cannot be faked, because it is God given/Holy Spirit inspired. Indeed, one can fall away from the faith in the absence of joy and peace that accompanies one’s faith. That wellspring of joy and peace that comes from the God of hope keeps us going and bubbling in the Lord without wavering and looking back. 1 Peter 1v6-8 (NIV) says “In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith – of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire – may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,” Hallelujah. The King James Version says – “… ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:” Amen. There is indeed a joy to be had as a child of God, as a believer who leans on and trusts in His unfailing love; as one who can testify of life without Christ and the difference it is when we are born again; one who can attest to the freshness of the fellowship of believers and how in the face of trials and tribulations we are joyful, for we know that victory is assured.

Prayer
Father, we thank You for the salvation of our souls and the joy to be had in Your presence. We thank You for Your great great love for us. Indeed we are truly grateful. Thank You for the joy that springs up from within us. Thank You for the Living Waters that flows from within. O God of hope we pray that You will continue to fill us with joy and peace by the experience of our faith, that by the power of the Holy Spirit, we will continue to abound and overflow with hope in Jesus name, amen.
