The God of Impossibilities
Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well
and bubbling in the Lord.

“Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in
the sea, a path in the mighty waters,” Isaiah 43v16 (ESV)
I am trying to think of how man can make a
way in the sea, a way for people to walk upon, or a path in the mighty waters.
First, they would need a whole team of experts in different fields –
oceanography, physics, divers, chemists, biologists, engineers e.t.c. Then they
would have to get to the bottom of the sea to decide where the exact location
of this way will be. It has to be so safe that after it is done, it doesn’t
dissolve, no one must die from walking upon it ... I know man reclaims land by
putting sand on the water, but even that takes a lot of effort. But the Most High
God is the One who can make a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters in
a matter of seconds. He can decide as well that He doesn’t want that path
anymore and cover it up like He did for the children of Israel when they were
pursued by the Egyptians. Nature obeys Him. Mark 4v35-41 (ESV) says “On that
day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us go across to the other
side.” And leaving the crowd, they took Him with them in the boat, just as He
was. And other boats were with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves
were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. But He was
in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke Him and said to Him,
“Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” And He awoke and rebuked the
wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was
a great calm. He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?
And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, “Who then is
this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?” What is that storm that is
threatening to capsize your boat and Jesus seems silent? Have faith in God. He
is Lord of the storms and He is able to make a way in the sea and a path in the
mighty waters. Call unto Him today. He loves you, and He cares for you. Nothing
is too difficult for Him. Do not put your confidence in any man – but in God. Luke
1v37 (KJV) assures us “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
Prayer
Father, I thank You for Your Word this day. You are indeed awesome. Father, in the lives of Your children, please make the impossible possible today and let Your name alone be glorified in Jesus name, amen.
