Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in
one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father
of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” Ephesians 4v4-6
(KJV)
“[There is] one body
and one Spirit—just as there is also one hope [that belongs] to the calling you
received— [There is] one Lord,
one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of [us] all, Who is above all
[Sovereign over all], pervading all and [living] in [us] all.” Ephesians 4v4-6
(AMP)
We thank
God for the Oneness that we have as believers: one body – the body of Christ, the Church; one Spirit – the
sweet precious Holy Spirit of God; one faith – our faith in God, in the
finished work of Christ on the Cross; one baptism – into the body of Christ;
and one God and Father of us all. Thank God for this. There is one body, and
the head of the body is our Lord Jesus Christ. We are members of this body, and
we are all important. 1 Corinthians 12v12-14 (TLB) says “Our bodies have many parts, but the many parts make up only
one body when they are all put together. So it is with the “body” of Christ. Each of us is a part of the one body of Christ. Some of us
are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But the Holy
Spirit has fitted us all together into one body. We have been baptized into
Christ’s body by the one Spirit, and have all been given that same Holy Spirit.
Yes, the body has many parts, not just one part.” We thank God for this great
body of Christ, spread all across the world, in different fellowships. We pray
that we will be united as one in Jesus name, amen.
Prayer
Father,
we thank You so much for this day that You have made, that we can rejoice and
be glad in it. We thank You for the body of Christ, and making me a part of it.
I pray that we will all fulfill our functions properly and well to the glory of
Your name in Jesus name, amen.
