Jehovah Jireh Cares
Dearly
beloved, I trust this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. Grace and peace
be multiplied unto you in Jesus name, amen. So, this is an encouragement that
God cares about your physical needs – what you shall eat, drink and put on.
Looking through the Bible, we see God letting us know this over and over again,
that He is more than able to meet the needs of myriads of people. His storehouse doesn’t go empty, neither is it affected by famine, drought or environmental
conditions.
Let us consider this scenario:
The Israelites were asking for flesh to eat after they left Egypt, and even
Moses the man of God was sceptical as to where the provision was going to come
from. Numbers 11v21-23 (AMPC) says “But Moses said, The people among whom I
am are 600,000 footmen [besides all the women and children], and You have said,
I will give them meat, that they may eat a whole month! Shall flocks and
herds be killed to suffice them? Or shall all the fish of the sea be collected to
satisfy them? The Lord said to Moses, Has the Lord’s hand (His ability and power)
become short (thwarted and inadequate)? You shall see now whether My word shall
come to pass for you or not.”
God doesn’t want us to worry
about what we will eat or drink or put on. Perhaps the Lord is telling you
today, I am your Jehovah Jireh; My hands are not waxed short, I will provide.
Trust Him. Give your need unto Him and watch Him do the miraculous for you in
Jesus name, amen. Again, perhaps you are interceding for your country, God has
not changed. If He could feed His people in the wilderness, He has more than
enough to supply the needs of nations. He alone is able to do these things.
Hallelujah.
Prayer
Father, we thank You for Your
word in season. We thank You because we were young and are growing older and we
have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. We look unto
You, for You are our sustenance. We thank You that You will not only provide
for us but let Your grace abound towards us that we may be blessings to others
in Jesus name, amen.
