The Word became Flesh
Dearly beloved. I trust this finds you well and
bubbling in the Lord. Happy Good Friday. We thank God for the Word of God that
became flesh and dwelt with us. With the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, came
good news. Hallelujah. Isaiah 9v6-7 (AMPC) says “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government
shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace. Of the
increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne
of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice
and with righteousness from the [latter] time forth, even forevermore. The zeal
of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” And this surely came to pass.
John 1v14 (AMPC) says “And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled
(fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His
glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives
from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.”
Prayer
Father, we thank You for Your Word, we thank You
for Your grace, for Your forgiveness and Your mercy. We thank God You for Your
Word which became flesh, dying for us and becoming our propitiation (http://beeencouraged.blogspot.com/2020/03/jesus-our-propitiation.html). Blessed be Your name forevermore in Jesus name,
amen.
