Prayer for Strength

Dearly beloved. I trust this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. As indicated by the prayer that Paul prayed for the Ephesians in Ephesians 3v16, one of the things we can pray for is strength. We need strength to get things done, to function and live from day to day. Here is Paul’s prayer and I pray the same for you this day:

“That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;” (KJV)

“I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit.” (NLT)

“May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].” (AMPC)
