Praying and Thanking (2)
Dearly
beloved, I trust this finds you well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God
because He is faithful and dependable. Has something got you worried,
concerned, disheartened, and down? What would God have you do about it? He
wants you to pray about it; not to keep worrying. Philippians 4v6-7 says “Don’t worry about anything;
instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank
him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace,
which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will
keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ
Jesus.”
Hallelujah.
God cares about us and wants to help us through whatever might be of concern
for us. 1 Peter 5v7 (AMPC) says “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all
your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares
for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.”
Psalm 55v22 (AMPC) also gives us this assurance “Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing
the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the
[consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail).” Do
you have cares? Why don’t you take it to the Lord now?
