Forgiveness (2)
Hello everyone,
How are you today? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Sometimes, after we have repented of our sins, and we know as the Bible tells us that God has forgiven us, the devil may try to bring up our past, and use guilt and condemnation to tie us down. With this, our joy is stolen, we don’t have peace, we can’t really rejoice as we ought to - all those things which are the fruit of the Spirit, or things that the Lord wants us to do. I read two good teachings, one on “Dealing with Guilt” and the other “Condemnation versus Conviction”. You can find them at:

The Bible tells us:
Primary Text: Romans 8v1
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8v1 (KJV)
Child of God in Christ, who is walking after the Spirit, there is no condemnation for you. The Bible, which is truth tells us that: “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” (Romans 8v33-34). Even if you do not yet know the Lord, the Bible assures us that “For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3v17), so don’t fear to come to Him and receive Him as Your Saviour. Believe in the Lord, His Word, His love, His mercy, His forgiveness, His blood. Do not let the accuser of the brethren torment you any longer. If God could forgive Paul who called himself the chief of sinners, or David after murder and adultery. How much more you? The wonderful thing is that God Himself ceases to remember our sins anymore. So why don’t you forgive yourself and move on?
Supplementary Text
“I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.” Isaiah 43v25 (KJV)
Father, thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness and justification. We pull down every stronghold of guilt and condemnation in our lives in Jesus name, amen.
