A New Song

Hello Everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and enjoying the Lord ☺ Happy New Year. We thank God for enabling us to see a new year. In this year, may the good Lord enable you to sing a new song everyday in Jesus name, amen. An encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ enables us to sing a new song. The Bible tells us that:

Primary Text: Luke 4v17-19
“And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4v17-19 (KJV)

Jesus came to do all these things. He came for the poor, the brokenhearted, the captive, the blind, the bruised. We get to sing a new song because of what Jesus did on the cross for us. We have peace with God. We have eternal life. The Bible says “That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world, But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ” (Ephesians 2v12-13). That is a new song indeed. And now, we as Christ’s ambassadors can take this message of hope to others as well.

Supplementary Text:
“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals therefore: for Thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by the blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” Revelations 5v9-10 (KJV)

Father, thank You for enabling us to sing a new song. Thank You Jesus for dying for us on the Cross of Calvary. Thank You for the song of joy, freedom, deliverance, victory, redemption that we can now sing, in Jesus name, amen.
