Rejoice
Hello everyone,
How are you doing today? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
We thank God for His mercy, His grace, His goodness and His faithfulness
towards us. The Bible tells us:
Primary Text
“Be happy [in your faith] and
rejoice and be glad-hearted
continually (always);” 1 Thessalonians 5v16 (AMP)
“Rejoice evermore.” 1 Thessalonians 5v16 (KJV)
“Always be joyful.” 1 Thessalonians 5v16 (NLT)
“Be cheerful no matter what;” 1 Thessalonians 5v16 (MSG)
Amen. As believers we have great cause to rejoice. Philippians
4v4 (AMP) says “Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in
Him]; again I say, Rejoice!” Our God is unchanging, a God of love, and peace,
and when we reflect on Him and throw our affections and delight ourselves in
Him, and all that we have to expect and to come in Him, it gives us every cause
to rejoice. Indeed included in the fruit of the Spirit, the work that the
Spirit of God does on the inside of us is joy. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord,
rejoice in Him. Zephaniah 3v17 (AMP) tells us “The Lord your God is in the
midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with
joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent
and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you
with singing.” Amen.
Supplementary Text

which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118v24
