Assurance of His Presence

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text

“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever –“ John 14v16 (AMP)

Beloved, God is with you. You might not see Him, but He is there. As a child of God who is born of God, the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of Christ, is in you and with you. John 14v17 (NLB) says “He is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit who leads into all truth. The world at large cannot receive him, for it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you do, for He lives with you now and some day shall be in you.” The Holy Spirit is not in everyone, only believers, 2 Timothy 1v4 (AMP) encouraging us to “Guard and keep [with the greatest care] the precious and excellently adapted [Truth] which has been entrusted [to you], by the [help of the] Holy Spirit Who makes His home in us.” 1 Corinthians 6v19-20 (TLB) tells us that “Haven’t you yet learned that your body is the home of the Holy Spirit God gave you, and that He lives within you? Your own body does not belong to you. For God has bought you with a great price. So use every part of your body to give glory back to God because He owns it.” Amen. Child of God, live with the consciousness that God is with you, in you, cares for you and you are His. Talk to Him, glorify Him, let the Holy Spirit daily comfort, counsel, help, intercede for, advocate for, strengthen and standby you.

Prayer

Father, I thank You for Your Word and Your presence. Thank You for Your precious Spirit dwelling with me forever. I ask Holy Spirit that You comfort, counsel, help, intercede for, advocate for, strengthen and standby me. That I will be ever aware of Your presence in Jesus name, amen.
