Be a star!
Hello
everyone,
How
are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.
Primary Text
“And
the teachers and those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the
firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness (to uprightness and right
standing with God) [shall give forth light] like the stars forever and ever.”
Daniel 12v3 (AMP)
I
understood something better about the sun yesterday; when it ceases to give
forth light, things die. In Daniel 12v3 above, the Bible talks about those who
turn many to righteousness shall give forth light like the stars forever and
ever. Do you know you can be a change agent for good or for bad? You can lead
people to love God more and live right, or you could encourage them to do
things that displease God. Romans 1v32 (AMP) talks of this latter category saying
“Though they were fully aware of God’s righteous decree that those who do such
things deserve to die, they not only do them themselves but approve and applaud
others who practice them.” What an awful end awaits these ones. Matthew 18v7
(AMP) says “Woe to the world for such temptations to sin and influences to do
wrong! It is necessary that temptations comes, but woe to the person on whose
account or by whom the temptation comes!” But you can choose to be change agent
for good. Indeed, as a believer, you are the salt of the earth, and you can determine
by the grace of God not to loose your taste, your strength and your quality.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew
5v14, AMP). Let your light shine! Be a star!
Supplementary Text
“Look
well to yourself [to your own personality] and to [your] teaching; persevere in
these things [hold to them], for by so doing you will save both yourself and
those who hear you.” 1 Timothy 4v16 (AMP)
Prayer
Father,
we thank You for making us the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
Father, the grace not to loose my taste or to be hidden, the grace to be a
star, please give unto me, in Jesus name, amen.
