Do it now!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Happy February! I pray this be a blessed month for you and yours in Jesus name, amen. How time flies. Can you believe that we are already in the 2nd month of 2014, and there are perhaps people you are still greeting – Happy New Year. This shows us the importance of time. Going back to the message I heard on making the most of 2014, one point that was made was to “do it now”. Many times, it is easy to procrastinate and push forward things we want to do till later. Or, we are waiting for the “perfect” time to get it done – when you have all the money, all the information, all the time, enough rest, in the right frame of mind, the economy is at its best e.t.c. But, is there ever a perfect time? Perhaps there are things that you said you will do this year and voila, we are already in February, and you have not gotten to it yet. Do it now! The Bible says:

Primary Text
“He who observes the wind [and waits for all conditions to be favorable] will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap.” Ecclesiastes 11v4 (AMP)

“If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.” Ecclesiastes 11v4 (TLB)

Some people want to wait before they give their lives to Christ… or to serve Him. But beloved, you never know what a day will bring (Proverbs 27v1). Others live lives full of regret because of what they could have done. Psalm 90v12 says “Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are; help us to spend them as we should.”

Supplementary Text
“Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5v15-16 (NIV)

Prayer
Father, we thank You for Your Word. We pray that You will teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are. Help us to spend them as we should, in Jesus name, amen.
