Thank God for prayer

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God for His goodness, His faithfulness, and His lovingkindness.

Primary Text

“The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their cry;” Psalm 34v15 (NIV)

One thing I am so grateful to God for is prayer, and prayer which is a natural offshoot of having a relationship with God, which comes from being made right with God. We become saved and righteous, not because of our own works but by the grace of God, even when we believe on, accept and acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Hallelujah. Through prayer we communicate with God and invite Him into every situation of our lives. The Psalmist said “I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies” (Psalm 18v3, KJV). Are you in a troubling or disturbing situation? Call upon the Lord. He can save you from every enemy, our chiefest adversary being the devil. Are you in need of rest? Go to the Lord Jesus. Take your burdens to Him. Are you happy, thankful, or joyful? Then give this gratitude to the Lord – He is worthy of it. Are you in a trial or temptation? Then pray about it. But still don’t forget to be thankful to God and rejoice in Him even in the midst of the going. No matter what you are going through, you can tell the Lord about it. The Holy Spirit is called the Comforter, and He can comfort you the way no one else can. Psalm 62v8 (TLB) says “O my people, trust Him all the time. Pour out your longings before Him, for He can help!” God is our Helper. Trust Him dear one and take your longings, desires, worries, praise and thanksgiving to Him.
