The All-Knowing God

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. We thank God that this is the day that He has made and we can rejoice and be glad in it. We thank God as well because of the fullness of His wisdom, knowledge, understanding, omniscience, He is willing and able to share with His children. The Bible says:

Primary Text
“Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).” Jeremiah 33v3 (AMP)

Because our God is the Alpha and Omega, and the Omniscient God, whose eyes are in every place beholding the good and the evil, He has knowledge of everything. Nothing goes unnoticed before Him. He knows of everything even before they occur for He is the Beginning and the Ending, there is no searching of His understanding. And we can cry out to Him for knowledge. “Yes, if you want better insight and discernment, and are searching for them as you would for lost money or hidden treasure, then wisdom will be given you and knowledge of God Himself; you will soon learn the importance of reverence for the Lord and of trusting Him. For the Lord grants wisdom! His every word is a treasure of knowledge and understanding” Proverbs 2v2-6 (TLB). We need knowledge and insight of a lot of things e.g. of the times that we are in, of the work of our hands, of ourselves, of situations, of God. God can give us the knowledge that we need. Ecclesiastes 2v26 (NIV) says “To the person who pleases Him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner He gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.” We need knowledge, and the God of knowledge is able to give it to us – call to Him for it.

Supplementary Text
“He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding!” Daniel 2v21 (AMP)

Prayer
Father God, we thank You for Your Word. We ask this day for knowledge for every sphere of our lives – knowledge of You, of Your Word, Your will, Your ways, of the work of our hands, of the various situations we find ourselves in that require insight. Thank You faithful God. This we pray in Jesus name, amen.
