God and His Works

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord. Happy new month to you all.  I pray this month is one of peace, joy and answered prayers for you and yours  in Jesus name, amen.

“And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.” 1 Corinthians 12v6 (KJV)

“There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.” 1 Corinthians 12v6 (NIV)

“There are many ways in which God works in our lives, but it is the same God who does the work in and through all of us who are His.” 1 Corinthians 12v6 (TLB)

“And there are distinctive varieties of operation [of working to accomplish things], but it is the same God Who inspires and energizes them all in all.” 1 Corinthians 12v6 (AMP)

Our God cannot be put in a box. We cannot say this is the one and only way in which God works. From the verse above, we see that God works in and through our lives in different ways, but it is the same God who is doing all this work. In order to achieve a certain purpose for example to draw people to Himself, and let them know the love of God, He can through a particular service work through the songs the choir sings, the children dancing, the pastor preaching, the offering collection e.t.c. to pass on the same message to His people. Yet, it is the same God who is at work in all. Philippians 2v13 (TLB) says “For God is at work within you, helping you want to obey Him, and then helping you do what He wants.” Amen. God is at work in us as His children and He inspires and energizes different types of work.

“Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] – To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).” Ephesians 3v20-21 (AMP)

Prayer

Our Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Word and for Your work that You are doing in and through us and all over the earth. Please have Your way in our lives, and be glorified now and forevermore in Jesus name, amen.
