Healing

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text

“To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;” 1 Corinthians 12v9 (KJV)

“To another [wonder-working] faith by the same [Holy] Spirit, to another the extraordinary powers of healing by the one Spirit;” 1 Corinthians 12v9 (AMP)

As believers, there are certain signs that the Lord Jesus said will follow us, which includes the ability to lay hands on the sick and they will be healed. Now, we ourselves do not do the healing, but God is the One who heals. In Mark 16v15-20 (KJV), the Lord Jesus gave this message to His disciples “And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, He was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” The name of Jesus is greater than any name that can be named and any disease be it cancer, depression, myopia, head ache, back pain, high blood pressure and so on. Philippians 2v9-11 (KJV) says “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Are you a believer and sick today? Begin to exercise your faith, lay hands on yourself and pray for your healing in the name of Jesus.

“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have I give thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God:” Acts 3v1-9 (KJV)

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank You so much for Your Word and compassion. We thank You for Your healing power. We pray for the grace to step out in faith and be used as instruments for Your glory even in the area of healing in Jesus name, amen.
