God be glorified!

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well and bubbling in the Lord.

Primary Text
“If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.” John 15v7-8 (AMP)

Having a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is a life-changing experience. In fact while on the one hand you become born again and thus a new creature (2 Corinthians 5v17), as you fellowship, abide and dwell in Him you also become changed in your mind, emotions, will, beliefs, values and so on. You find that you begin to take on the nature of Christ, commune with and fellowship with God, and prayer takes on a new meaning to you. As we see in the John 15v7-8 above, we find then that as we remain vitally united to Christ, and His Words remain in us and continue to live in our hearts, we can ask whatever we will and it would be done for us. When prayers are answered, God is glorified. John 14v13-14 (KJV) says “And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in My name, I will do it.” When we are vitally connected to Christ and His Words remain in our hearts, our prayer life is as well changed – we become more selfless and pray according to the will of God. You find yourself praying for things that would are in line with the will of God for you and for others, and God hears and answers and is glorified when the prayers come. Beloved, this is an encouragement to dig into the Word of God. Don’t neglect your time of studying the Word of God and fellowshipping with God. Don’t trivialize your prayer time; it is essential.

Prayer

Father I thank You for Your Word this day. Please grant me the grace to study the Word of God and to pray without ceasing in Jesus name, amen.
